Fall Prevention

Caring Choices has been performing fall prevention research and providing direct fall prevention services to residents of 12 northern California counties for the last 7 years. Funding for this research and these programs has come from a variety of sources including the Archstone Foundation, the California Endowment, the California Wellness Foundation and Shasta Public Health Department.

Caring Choices has brought together a coalition of agencies that can assist a senior or loved one with fall related issues. Services are based on geographical area and funding and can include referrals to physical therapy, home modification, nursing assessments, medication management, Lifeline and other services.
