Caring Choices Emergency Volunteer Center (EVC) – #CampFire

November 24, 2018 – Important Updates from Caring Choices EVC

The needs of those displaced by the fire are changing.
We continue to place volunteers for the donations centers including the Hope Center in Oroville and the Salvation Army in Chico; the animal shelters in Chico, Gridley, and Richvale as well as volunteers for Caring Choices.
Volunteers who have gone through the vetting process with Caring Choices or have applied and not heard back, they will be receiving an email from Caring Choices with specific information on next steps depending on the status of their application.
If a medical professional has been vetted and has volunteered, please reach out to Public Health (530-538-6648) for scheduling as there remains a need for medical help.
Those interested in volunteering and have not yet applied, please call 925-548-0171
For State workers living in Butte County and are interested in one of the volunteering opportunities, please call 925-487-5025 between the hours of 10:00 and 3:00
