Medication Assessments

Caring Choices has partnered with Home & Health Care Management to provide medication assessments at no cost (donations accepted) for older adults 60 years of age or older who are living in Placer County. This program is funded by the Area 4 Agency on Aging.

EMERGENCY VOLUNTEER CENTER

Caring Choices has an agreement with Butte  & surrounding Counties to serve as an Emergency Volunteer Center in the event of an emergency. This center is activated when requested by the County Office of Emergency Services.

Disaster response center

Housing

The HOPWA program provides financial assistance for housing needs as well as budget management services for those living with HIV/AIDS. Funding for this program is provided by the California State Office of AIDS.


NUTRITION

Our Nutrition Cafe program provides fun, free cooking classes for those affected by HIV/AIDS and their caregivers. Funding for this program is supported by the HIV Care Program under the California Department of Public Health. Limited FEMA food assistance available at our Redding office location.


minority aids initiative grant

Increase HIV general knowledge and remove barriers to HIV testing in the Asian/Hmong populations in Butte County.


aids drug assistance program (ADAP)

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.


HIV Care Program (HCP)

HCP aims to ensure access to HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and prevention services.
